Classic weight loss approaches, as well as fad diets, provide a very narrow, limited approach which ultimately is not only unsustainable, but also ineffective.  Em works with you to explore and address where you currently are, and co-creates with you necessary, realistic steps to efficiently and sustainably reach your goals.

Considering food preferences and cooking abilities, Em also provides delicious, innovative meal and snack ideas to support weight management.

Long story short - Em understands the body and what fuels it. I met Em with a goal to understand the role food plays with my exercise and weight loss plans.  I always thought that the less you eat, the more you lose.  In the past, no dietitians told me otherwise. 

Em provided a different perspective.  She actually explained how my food choices and low calories were not helping either plans.  She took the time to get to know my story...my likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, and goals.   

With the changes Em has helped me make, my energy level has increased with balanced meals throughout the day.  The food choices and timing have helped keep my endurance during my workouts.  Overall, I don't feel as hungry which has kept me from choosing overly poor food choices.  I'm confident that with Em's help, I'll continue to make strides in achieving my goals.”
