Meet Em

Em’s love of food and passion for nutrition is evident not only with her clients, but in the kitchen, too!  A pro at coupling healthy carbs, protein and fats in innovative, super-tasty ways, Em offers her clients recipes to meet their taste buds and culinary capabilities.  

As a runner and avid strength trainer, Em also  has an intimate experience of the impact and gains associated with fine-tuned nutrition regimens.  

Em's Qualifications Include:

• Undergraduate degree in Speech Communications/Psychology from Susquehanna University, 2002

• Graduate work at Gallaudet University in Counseling for the Deaf

• Masters in Nutrition Science from Colorado State University, 2009

• Dietetic Internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 2010

• Registered dietitian (RD) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

• Licensed dietitian in Massachusetts, 2010

Em currently also shares her passion for nutrition through her work as a Senior Clinical Dietitian at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Purple Cactus Burrito Bowls; HUGE salads w/ almonds, strawberries, feta, riot of veg; homemade Grapefruit Vodka Refreshers (includes grapefruit seltzer, grapefruit juice, lime…git dang!); corn on the cob; any sandwich with avocado; corn on the cob (worth repeating)

Current Training Regimen

Back/bis; Run/swim/core; Legs; Chest/tris/core; Rest; Run/gym-circuit/swim; Rest or leisurely run

Stretching/Foam rolling- a must to take care of my fickle ITs, adductors and hammies!
