Monday Morning Mocha (The Triple M)


The trick to this yum-fest is to make a cup of STRONG coffee and freeze it into ice cubes.  Espresso also works.  For creamy smoothies, I always recommend slicing ripe bananas into coins and freezing flat.  They're always ready to go, and you don't have to worry about bananas going bad.  Phew!

You can also play with adding mint extract (Thin Mint Cookie, anyone??) or other extracts for fun flavor.

1 c unsweetened almond milk

1.5 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 scoop whey protein powder

1/4 ripe avocado

1 small banana, sliced in coins, frozen

4-5 coffee ice cubes (or 3 espresso cubes)

stevia to taste

1) Add ingredients in the order above and blend.  Breakfast is SERVED!
